Comfortable win for Arsenal
 Women's Football News 30 Sep 2011
FC Bobruichanka 0
Arsenal 4 (White 9, Nobbs 64, Beattie 76, Chapman pen 88)

Arsenal put themselves firmly in the driving seat for a place in the last 16 of the UEFA Women's Champions League with a 4-0 first leg victory over FC Bobruichanka.
Before the game, manager Laura Harvey called for consistency from her Gunners side as they look to go one step further than last season's semi final place but there were no problems for Arsenal as they swept the Belarus champions aside.
Ellen White opened the scoring after nine minutes to give the Gunners the early lead they wanted and they took their slender advantage into the half time break.
The second half was a much more one-sided affair after Arsenal took a firm grip on the game when Jordan Nobbs netted the second in the 64th minute. Jennifer Beattie, on as a second half substitute, put them further ahead and Katie Chapman rounded off the scoring late on from the penalty spot.
Arsenal will look to build on the win when the teams meet again in the second leg at Boreham Wood next Wednesday.
Arsenal: Rebecca Spencer, Steph Houghton (sub Yvonne Tracy 74mins), Niamh Fahey, Jayne Ludlow, Gilly Flaherty, Ciara Grant, Katie Chapman, Jordan Nobbs, Ellen White (sub Jennifer Beattie 65mins), Kim Little (sub Danielle Carter 58mins), Rachel Yankey. Subs not used: Emma Byrne, Lauren Bruton, Hayley Ladd.
