Scotland Under-17 earned a point from a 1-1 draw against hosts Austria in their second game of the UEFA Women's Under-17 Championship qualifiers.
The hosts took the lead through Nicole Billa with just under quarter of an hour gone, but Scotland fought back to equalise when Elizabeth Arnot struck on 28 minutes.
After an opening 3-0 win over Kazhakstan, Scotland sit second in Group 10, two points behind leaders Iceland, who they face on Wednesday.
A win would take Pauline Hamill's side into the Second Round, and a draw may be enough, although there would be an agonising wait until the remaining groups kick off later in the month.
Scotland Under-17: Megan Cunningham, Stephanie Knox, Chloe Arthur, Haylie Crosbie, Lucy Graham (sub Nicola Emery 27mins), Elizabeth Arnot, Zoe Ness, Caroline Weir, Fiona Brown, Emily McKerlie, Caroline Richardson (sub Abbi Grant 72mins). Subs not used: Chloe Logan, Kathryn Pender, Natasha McMahon, Lois Heuchan, Leigh Nicol.
