Blackburn Rovers coach Matt Johnson has been specially selected to attend a UEFA Study Visit on elite women's football in Germany.
The Centre of Excellence Under-17 head coach will form part of an FA delegation and link up with fellow participants from Spain and the Netherlands.
An FA spokesperson said: "We feel that Matt has gone above and beyond in terms of his support to the FA Centres of Excellence programme and his commitment to the new Elite Performance Camps.
"This is a very prestigious invite from one of the world's leading nations in player development."
The four-day study scheme will be held at Sportschule Kaiserau, near Dortmund, in mid-November and will cover a range of technical skills training stations, hosted by experienced international duo Renate Lingor and Steffi Jones, as well as former national team coach Tina Theune, who led Germany to the 2003 Women's World Cup crown.
The group will also watch an Under-13 friendly, look ahead to the 2012 Olympic Games and have the opportunity to attend Bayern Munich's Bundesliga clash with Duisburg.
Matt said: "I am honoured and flattered to be selected to attend such a high profile event and am very much looking forward to the opportunity, which can only help to develop my coaching career."
