A fabulous night was had by all who attended the 2011 Scottish Women's Football Awards night in Hampden last Friday.
There were nine awards presented on the night and the most coveted award was carried off by Hibernian and Scotland goalkeeper Shannon Lynn, who won the Scottish Sun Players' Player of the Year and was overwhelmed by this accolade from her fellow players.
Glasgow City manager Eddie Wolecki Black, who led his side to the SWPL title and the Henson Projects Scottish Cup as well as the last sixteen of the UEFA Women's Champions League, won the Coach/Manager of the Year award whilst the International Player of the Year award went to Celtic midfielder Megan Sneddon.
Hosted by Alison Walker, thanks were extended to the entire category sponsor and the audio and lighting sponsor Saville Audio Visual. The trophies were courtesy of the Trophy Centre.
