AFC Trinity are aiming to bridge a two division gap when they play Leicester City Ladies in the F.A.Women's Cup on Sunday.
The East Midlands League Division One South side host the Midland Combination high fliers and defender Clare Starr, also the club chairman, told Women's Soccer Scene: "All the girls have been looking forward to Sunday's game with Leicester as, for us, it is the furthest we have got in this competition in our ten years of being a club so just getting to this stage is an achievement in itself.
"Although we were lucky to get a walkover in the last round, it hasn't stopped us from being even more determined to go out and give it our all. Not matter what the result is we will be happy coming off the pitch knowing that we gave it everything and played to our best ability, and who knows what will happen on the day!"
Trinity manager Gareth Crisp added: "We know we are in for a very tough game but we hope to give a good account of ourselves and compete as best we can on the day, but it is the F.A.Cup after all."
