Leeds United are launching a brand new Hall of Fame, celebrating the many players and members of staff who have worked with the club since it was formed in 1989.
Inaugural inductees will be honoured at a special fundraising dinner at Elland Road on Friday 23 March.
The list of inductees will be announced shortly before the dinner, and the club is inviting fans to share memories of their favourite players and moments, through the club's web site as well as through Twitter and Facebook.
"One thing you become aware of when you join the club is the depth of talent that has worn the Leeds United Ladies shirt over the years," said Steve Russell, club Chairman. "Players with international careers chose to play for us and we have a great Centre of Excellence nursing the stars of the future, some of whom have also gone on to greater things.
"Off the field, too, we have benefited from some of the best managers and coaches around, which is a tribute to the professionalism that runs through the club as a whole.
"It's absolutely right that we celebrate the successes we've had together over the years and acknowledge those who achieved legendary status among our fans and fellow players, which is why we're launching the Hall of Fame."
Tickets for the dinner, priced at £40 each or £380 for a table of 10, are now on sale online in the club's shop at www.leedsunitedladies.com/shop and can also be bought at the club's next two scheduled home fixtures, against Sunderland on Sunday 12 February and against Leeds City Vixens on Sunday 11 March.
