Leicester City Women FC are pleased to announce that they have appointed 21-year-old Zoe Johnson as their new First team Coach.
Manager Luke Turner says: "I'm really pleased I have been able to persuade Zoe to come and join our coaching staff from Preston North End. She is only young, but has good experience in this division, both managing a reserve side and being a first team assistant manager. She will bring some knowledge with her that can improve our match preparation and bring some new ideas.
"She loves her football and is very eager to progress her coaching. I've been looking to bring in more staff for a while, but I didn't want to just bring anyone. Zoe fits the bill, I like what she has to say and I'm sure we will work well together."
Zoe added: "I am really pleased to be given the role at a big club like Leicester in the Premier League at my age and when the opportunity came up I grabbed the chance. I am looking forward to working alongside Luke, the coaching staff and all the players.
"I can't wait for the challenge and to progress myself in the game. Everyone at the club has made me feel very welcome, which is great, and I'm sure I will settle in quickly."
