Tuesday saw the FA's 2012 Girls' Football Festivals supported by Continental Tyres, Sport England and UEFA visit The Football Development Centre in Norwich.
More than150 girls took part in the Festival accompanied by Women's Super League (WSL) players Claire Rafferty and Sarah Quantrill of Chelsea who met the girls, signed autographs and had their photos taken with participants.
The free training day led by FA coaches aimed at encouraging girls to participate in football, included interactive games and competitions, the ContiWarmUp programme, skills and drills with FA approved coaches, mini matches and prizes, goodies and give-aways for all.
Sarah Quantrill said: "It was great to see so many girls of all abilities playing football. Having grown up in Norwich its amazing to see a festival like giving the local girls a chance to develop their skills with FA skilled coaches."
Tim Bailey, Continental Tyres Communications Manager added: "I am delighted with both number of girls attending and also the level of coaches provided by the Norfolk FA. I am very much looking forward to the remaining events in the season."
