South East Combination
Norwich City's title hopes were dealt a fatal blow as they were beaten in their East Anglian derby, 2-1 by Ipswich Town. Amy Howlett and Jade Skillen netted the goals for Ipswich.
Ebbsfleet Utd meanwhile closed in a top four place with a 2-0 victory over Brentwood Town. Both goals came either side of half time, Kelly Philpott putting Fleet in front just before the break and Sian Cheedy adding the second early in the second half.
South West Combination
Yeovil Town are closing in on their second league title in three years after scoring seven without reply against Keynsham Town Development. Justine Lorton and Laura Bray each netted twice and the tally was completed by Jodi Cornwall plus Rosie Williams and Shannon Osman, who both scored their first league goals for Yeovil. The result means that the Somerset side now require eight points from their final five games in order to be confirmed as Champions.
Swindon Town meanwhile ran out 6-1 winners away to Southampton Saints, who remain in the bottom two. Michelle Rich netted a hat-trick - taking her tally to 200 goals for the club - and the others came from Kirsty Shell (2) and Amy Baker, who scored her first goal for the Wiltshire side.
* No matches were played in the Northern Combination and Midland Combination.
