Combination Leagues round-up
 Women's Football News 9 Mar 2012
Northern Combination
Bradford City's chances of a title challenge took an enormous blow as they went down to a 1-0 defeat away to Mossley Hill. Kaisha Sohl scored the only goal of the game to leave Bradford in third and keep alive Mossley's hopes of a mid-table position.
Huddersfield Town got back to winning ways but only just, edging out Cheadle Heath Nomads by the odd goal in seven. Chloe Sheridan, Emily Heckler, Ruby Greaves and Sofie Armitage scored the goals for Huddersfield who had led by three goals at one stage and needed to withstand a second half fightback from the Nomads.
Midland Combination
Stoke City kept up the pressure at the top of the table and went seven points clear by beating Radcliffe Olympic 2-1.
Copsewood (Coventry) continue to go from strength to strength and their 7-4 win against Loughborough Students has taken them into third place. Copsewood prolific strike duo of Abiyola Riley and Nicola Foskett each netted hat-tricks to spearhead the victory, with Pindy Shoker adding the other goal.
South East Combination
Milton Keynes Dons became the first team this season to take points off Champions elect Lewes when the sides shared a 2-2 draw. The Dons twice took the lead through Christie Turner and Cassie Steward with Stacey Baker and Naomi Cole equalising on each occasion.
Norwich City's season is beginning to collapse around them and they crashed to a 4-0 defeat at home to Ebbsfleet Utd, who are now up into fourth place. Lisa Fulgence was on target twice for Fleet with the other goals coming from Jen Poole and Sophie Longhurst.
Ipswich Town continue to climb the table and are in fifth, with an outside chance of a top three finish, after they defeated Crystal Palace 6-1. Amanda Everett and Lindsey Smith each bagged doubles and joining them on the scoresheet were Jess Taylor and Amy Cook.
The two teams at the foot of the table met each other in a vital relegation clash and it was Brentwood Town who gave themselves a great chance of survival with a 2-0 victory over Old Actonians. Dannielle Robertson gave Brentwood the lead and they sealed the points with a second half strike from Carla Rose.
South West Combination
Gloucester City returned to winning ways by running out 5-1 victors over Keynsham Town Development to keep alive their hopes of a top three finish. Kelly Hall had a good day in front of goal, netting four times with Helen Wood also on target.
Chesham Utd meanwhile recorded one of their best results of the season to date, a 6-1 success away to Swindon Town.
