Blackburn Rovers captain Hannah Forster is relishing the opportunity to lead her side against Charlton Athletic in the FA Women's Cup Fifth Round on Sunday - and also to go one better than their last Cup meeting.
"I'm very much looking forward to the game, as are all the girls," Hannah told Women's Soccer Scene. "There's a real buzz around the team at the moment.
"There's no mistaking that we are the underdogs. Charlton are in the league above us and they're doing well in that league - I think they're currently third in the table.
"They are also the home team, so the pressure is on them to perform. We can just go down there and play our football. We're nine games unbeaten and we're playing some really good passing football at the moment.
"It's a chance for us to show how good we are against a team that's in a higher league than us."
Hannah previously played for Blackburn against Charlton in the semi finals five years ago and came agonisingly close to being her side's hero. "I was only 16 at the time and I came on as a sub about ten or fifteen minutes from the end," she recalled.
"At that time, Charlton were an even better team than they are now. They had players like Jo Potter and Eni Aluko, who are now playing in the Super League. It was a really close game and we could have nicked something from it.
"I remember in stoppage time, we almost grabbed an equaliser. The ball came in and Katie Anderton was in front of me. She went up with the defender, but both missed it and it ricocheted off me and went just the wrong side of the post.
"Hopefully I can make amends and get a goal this weekend!"
Referring to how things are going for the team in general at the moment, Hannah said: "We haven't played a league game for ages, so our focus has been on the cup competitions and we've been doing really well.
"Hopefully when we get back to the league, we can carry over our cup form and give Manchester City a run for their money, as they are in pole position for promotion at the moment."
