East Midlands League
Rise Park completed the semi final line up in the League Cup with a surprise 2-1 win away to title hopefuls Daventry Town. Kylie Parr and Sarah Murray netted the goals to book Rise Park a meeting with Long Eaton Utd in the last four.
There was better news for Daventry in the Premier Division as leaders Mansfield Town's stuttering finish to the season continued. Despite goals from Lucy Webster and Kirsty Walton, Mansfield were held to a 2-2 draw by Peterborough Northern Star who found the net through Julie Ikeda and Rachel Adkin. Shepshed Dynamo meanwhile picked up an important 3-2 win at Gedling Town thanks to Lisa McIlroy, Katie Bateman and Terry Want.
Steel City Wanderers maintained their four point lead at the top of Division One North after Sarah Smith, Danielle Harrison and Sam Hallam gave them a 3-1 victory over Rolls Royce Leisure. Nettleham kept up the chase in the second place, beating Retford Utd 5-3 courtesy of a Leanne Woodhead hat-trick, Linzi Hewitt and an own goal. Grimsby Town ran riot against Mansfield Town Res, scoring fifteen without reply, and Danielle Pritchard (2), Sheryl Gayle and Rhyiannea Anderson were on target for Arnold Town in their 4-2 success over West Bridgford.
Loughborough Students Res took themselves to the brink of the Division One South title by beating Radcliffe Olympic Res 3-1. Vicky Jarrett scored twice and Sophie Weedon the other to leave the students needing to avoid defeat in their last match. AFC Trinity's chances took a huge blow as they drew 3-3 with Barrowby who netted through Carlene Ferris, Charlotte Sterry and Jade Ashton. Bryna Holmes, Laura Sutherland and Sam Christie were on the scoresheet for Trinity. Oadby & Wigston Dynamo and Ilkeston Town also shared six goals, Sophie Langford (2) and Holly Gendall netting for Dynamo with Georgina Williams (2) and Jessica Waplington replying.
Eastern Region League
Arlesey Town moved closer towards the Premier Division title after Katerina Hamplova and two own goals gave them a 3-2 win over Bedford Ladies. A Claire Knibbs hat-trick. Lesley-Ann Seaman and an own goal ensured a 5-2 victory for second placed Peterborough Sports at Stevenage Borough whilst C & K Basildon defeated Barking 3-2 thanks to Charlie Dolby (2) and Nicola Carty. Rebecca Russell scored the only goal of the game for Thorpe Utd in their win against Billericay Town.
In Division One North, goals from Stacey Spiers, Helen Cryer and Rachel Mann earned third placed Haverhill Rovers a 3-1 victory over Cambridge Women Res. Fakenham Town defeated Huntingdon Town 6-0 thanks to a Shelly Woods hat-trick, Lisa Wilson (2) and Tiffany Forshaw whilst AFC Sudbury and Ipswich Wanderers battled out a 4-4 draw. Jodie Sharp netted all four goals for Sudbury whilst Ipswich replied through a Jo Welham brace, Claire Ellis and Charlotte Hayward.
Lauren Richardson, Georgia Box and Laura Brooks scored the goals as Division One South leaders Colchester Town won 3-1 at Hoddesdon Owls. Sawbridgeworth Town are up into second place after Jackie Stott and Freya Liiv gave them a 2-0 success against Chelmsford City. Stacey Russell, Kelly Randall and Nicola Hollick were on the scoresheet for Leverstock Green in their 3-1 victory over Hutton whilst East Thurrock Utd triumphed 3-2 at Baldock Town thanks to Amy Leach, Kerry Mills and Sophie Dowman. Wendy Webster scored the only goal of the game as Royston Town won at Hannakins.
London & South East League
The Premier Division title race took another turn on Sunday when leaders Eastbourne Town were beaten 1-0 by Hemel Hempstead. The win takes the Sussex side back into second although they are running out of games. Despite being held to a 2-2 draw by Denham Utd, Chichester City now have matters in their hands as they now trail Eastbourne by five points, with two games in hand. Westfield went down to a 2-1 defeat at home to improving AFC Wimbledon whilst Panthers were 2-1 victors at Wandgas.
Kikk Utd maintained their lead of five points in Division One (London) as they scored six without reply past Carshalton Athletic and Hampstead moved into second via a 3-1 success at Brentford. Fulham Compton OB received a blow to their chances when they were beaten 3-0 by MSA Ladies who can catch Kikk by winning their games in hand. Tottenham Hotspur Res and Luton Town Res shared four goals whilst the match between Knaphill Wanderers and Kent Magpies finished goalless.
North East League
The Premier Division top of the table clash went the way of Barnsley who won 2-0 away to previously unbeaten Hull City. Holly Findlay scored both goals to see Barnsley take over the leadership for the first time this season. York City kept their hopes alive after Alicia Smith and Carol Thompson gave them a 2-0 victory over Hessle Town. Nicola Chapman and Sue Green were on target for Scunthorpe Utd who are finishing the season well, they were 2-1 winners over Castleford White Rose, whilst at the other end of the table, Guiseley picked up an important 2-1 success at Sheffield Utd Junior Blades thanks to Caroline Hulme and Amy Parker.
Birtley Phoenix have been crowned as Northern Division Champions despite not kicking a ball on Sunday. Redcar Athletic were the only team still capable of catching them but these hopes ended as they were beaten 3-2 by Norton & Stockton Ancients. California Ladies put themselves in the race for the runners-up with a 13-2 win over Lumley. Julia Corfield bagged a four-goal haul, Jess Hart and Ashleigh Joe each contributed hat-tricks, Rebecca Degnen weighed in with a double and Sofia Cansado-Fernandex was also on target. Anne Unsworth and Michaela McHugh scored the goals for Birtley Town in their 2-1 win away to Tynedale.
Lepton Highlanders still lead the way in the Southern Division after Emma Rutherford, Emily Senior and Rebecca Wiggans gave them a 3-1 victory over Goole Town. Keepmoat Stadium made sure of staying one point behind by scoring five without reply at Rothwell Ladies, Lynn Goodman netting twice along with Sam Kitchen, Jenna Cresswell and Gemm Harte. Megan Render, Leah Smirk and Ellie Tanser were on target for third placed Malet Lambert YC in their 3-1 win against Wetherby Athletic whilst Ossett Albion defeated AFC Preston 5-2 thanks to braces from Sophie Langdale and Nicola Swift, with Kim Nallon adding the other.
North West League
Chester City progressed to the quarter finals of the League Cup by beating Penrith AFC 2-0. Also through to the last eight are Mossley Hill Res who were 3-1 winners at Leigh RMI.
In the League Plate, Warrington Town won their delayed First Round tie against AFC Urmston Meadowside. AFC Liverpool caused a surprise by defeating top flight Burnley Girls & Ladies and there were victories for Southport Birkdale and Preston North End.
Chorley power on at the top of the Premier Division, winning 2-1 against Northwich Vixens to stay twelve points ahead of Blackpool who beat Bury Girls & Ladies 3-1. Crewe Alexandra kept up their good form with a 1-0 success at Bolton Wanderers to go level on points with third placed Tranmere Rovers, who drew 2-2 with Denton Town.
Two of the title contenders met each other in the solitary match in Division One North, Morecambe increasing their lead at the top to two points as they shared six goals with unbeaten Padiham, who remain in fourth.
Manchester University stay five points clear at the top of Division One South after scoring six without reply against Manchester Stingers. City of Manchester defeated Glossop North End 3-0 to stay hard on their heels in second place. Birkenhead enhanced their chances of a top three finish by beating Winsford 3-2.
South West League
One game was played in the Premier Division on Sunday, Frome Town winning 4-2 away to Stoke Lane Athletic. Claire Fowler, Mel Sartain, Alex Gwyther and Megan Brown all netted a goal apiece for Frome with the home side replying through a Jade Gamlin double.
Downend Flyers have clinched the Eastern Division One title with a 4-2 victory over Bishop's Lydeard. Kate Michaels scored twice along with Laura Baker and Alana Willson to give Downend the victory they required. Mel Bristow netted both goals as Swindon Supermarine won their local derby 2-1 against Swindon Spitfires whilst Chelsea Pitt bagged a hat-trick as Bridgwater Town netted six without reply against Cam Bulldogs. Devon Rich, Gemma Baker and Anneka Russ were also on the scoresheet. Poole Town and Nailsea Utd battled out a 2-2 draw, Bev Symes and Sam Gubb scoring for Poole with Nailsea replying through Rachael Illingworth and Kate Liddington.
The outcome of the Western Division One title was also decided with Stoke Gabriel clinching top spot with a 6-0 success at Roche. Alex Sheppard scored twice with one apiece from Vicki Fannon, Laura Carpenter, Laura Plant and Rhiannon Bailey. Morley Rangers' hopes were ended by a 4-3 defeat away to Falmouth Town who netted through Keri-Ann Moxom, Sasha Sparkes, Carly Jacka and Katy Barker. Launceston remain in the hunt for the runners-up spot after Gemma Sanders netted four times, with Lucy Bounsall, Grace Liddicoat and Jill Haines adding the others in their 7-0 victory over Taunton Town.
Southern Region League
League Cup holders Oxford Utd are through to the Final once again this season after they defeated Southampton Women 3-0 in their semi final on Sunday.
In the Chairman's Cup, Bracknell Town progressed to the semi finals with a 2-1 win at Basingstoke Town. Stony Stratford Town were 2-0 victors over Banbury Utd whilst Marlow are also in the last four following a 4-2 success away to Reading Ladies.
Launton picked up an important 4-0 success at Andover New Street in the Premier Division to move out of the bottom two. Kate Casserley was on target twice along with Susanna Graves and Danielle Metcalfe. Oxford City meanwhile drew 2-2 with Woodley Utd in the other game.
Chesham Utd Res won 4-1 away to City Belles in the Jubilee Cup whilst Oxford Utd Res beat Mansfield Road 2-1 thanks to Danielle Anderson and Charlotte Comley. Beaconsfield SYCOB and Newbury Ladies & Girls shared a 1-1 draw and Locks Heath ran out 5-1 winners over Boscombe Albion, Rachel Anderson and Darcey Read each netting twice along with Carla Perkins.
West Midlands League
Kingshurst Sporting caused a surprise in the quarter finals of the Premier Division Cup with a 4-0 victory away to Stafford Town. Lichfield Diamonds also went through to the semi finals by winning 5-1 at Wednesfield Town.
FC Reedswood have reached the Finals of the Division One North Cup following their 4-1 win against Walsall on Sunday.
In the Division One South Cup, Crusaders are through to the Final after beating Marston Green 2-0. In their delayed quarter final tie, Coventry Sphinx were 2-1 local derby winners over Coventry Development.
Premier Division leaders Solihull Ladies took another blow to their title hopes as they went down to a 2-0 defeat at fellow challengers Leamington Lions. Second placed Pegasus Ladies beat Cannock 3-1 and are just one point off the pace. Allscott and Stratford Town battled out a 1-1 draw whilst Bradwell Belles were 5-2 victors away to Kidderminster Harriers.
In Division One North, Chasetown remain in the bottom two after narrowly being beaten 1-0 by Coseley Town. Port Vale and Cresswell Wanderers shared six goals and Cottage Farm Rangers returned from Prees Raiders with a 2-1 victory.
B & WM Police have opened up a four point lead in Division One South following their 3-1 success at Knowle. Malvern Town battled out a 4-4 draw with Ferndale and have edged themselves into third place.
