Leeds Utd drew level on points with National Division leaders Sunderland after they defeated Cardiff City 2-0.
Hayley Sharp put Leeds in front in the 18th minute and they sewed up the points late in the second half when Jess Holbrook netted the second goal. Sunderland still top the table on goal difference and have two matches left, to Leeds' one.
A remarkable 'Great Escape' is still on for Watford following their 3-1 win away to Reading FC Women. After Stacie Donnelly had given Reading a first half lead, goals in a ten minute spell from Irene Martin Garcia and Jo Wilson turned the match around in Watford's favour and Sarah Wiltshire made the game safe with the third goal, ten minutes from time.
Watford are now off the bottom of the table and, due to Reading finishing their matches, a win in their last game will give them a great chance of safety.
