England have qualified for this summer's Finals of the UEFA Women's Under-19 Championships following a 1-0 win over Austria in Grimsby.
Mo Marley's young charges came into this final qualifier needing just a point to make it to Turkey in July, but they went one better as Arsenal forward Danielle Carter grabbed the only goal of the game in the 19th minute.
Allied to earlier wins over Finland (1-0) and Wales (6-0), England have progressed to the Finals with a 100 per cent record and without their goal being breached once.
They will now be hoping to extend England's excellent recent record in this competition - winners in 2009 and runners-up in 2007 and 2010.
England Under-19: Megan Walsh, Lara Fay, Jaz Matthews, Sherry McCue, Meaghan Sargeant, Alex Greenwood, Melissa Lawley (sub Keira Ramshaw 62mins), Danielle Carter, Nikita Parris, Beth England (sub Kasia Lipka 70mins), Lizzie Ince. Subs not used: Jess Sigsworth, Fliss Gibbons, Rebecca Anderson, Annabel Johnson.
