Trio keep up perfect start
 Women's Football News 8 Apr 2012
Leanne Ross netted six times as Glasgow City held on to the leadership of the Scottish Women's Premier League with an emphatic victory over FC Kilmarnock.
The Scottish international led the scoring as the reigning Champions 15-1 winners, with namesake Jane Ross bagging a four-goal haul. Lisa Evans added two and there was one apiece from Christie Murray, Julie Melrose and Emma Fernon while Killie's consolation came via a Rachel Corsie own goal.
Hibernian hold on to second place following their 6-1 victory over Hamilton Academicals. Kirsty Smith, Siobhan Hunter, Joelle Murray, Kirsty McLaughlin and Caroline Weir were all on the scoresheet along with an own goal.
Celtic meanwhile netted nine without reply past Falkirk to keep up their own perfect start with three wins out of three. Hayley Cunningham hit a hat-trick for the Ghirls, Chloe Craig weighed in with a brace and the tally was completed by Rhonda Jones, Emily Thomson, Heather Richards and Suzanne Grant.
Rangers recorded their second win in a row as they edged out Hutchison Vale by the odd goal in seven, thanks to a Jen Callaghan double, Suzanne MacTaggart and an own goal.
Despite a brace of goals from Sarah Ewens, Spartans were held to a 2-2 draw by Inverness City. Natalie Bodium and Karen Mason replied for Inverness to give their side their first point of the season.
Aberdeen and Forfar Farmington occupy the mid-table positions after their meeting finished level at 1-1. Forfar took the lead early in the second half when Rachael Small curled in a shot from just inside the area but the home side hit back to earn a share of the spoils through a header from Fiona Cardwell.
