East Midlands League
Daventry Town moved themselves to within one point of Premier Division leaders Mansfield Town with a 2-1 victory away to Sandiacre Town. The sides are due to meet this Sunday in a game which is sure to go a long way towards deciding the destination of the title. Peterborough Northern Star took the opportunity to climb above Sandiacre into third place by beating Barlestone St Giles 5-3. Rise Park can still finish in the top three despite losing a little ground following a 1-1 draw with Long Eaton Utd.
Steel City Wanderers need to win one of their remaining two matches to secure the Division One North title, getting closer to their target with a 3-0 success at Retford Utd, goals coming from Sarah Smith, Lucy Smith and a Rachael Aikman penalty. Rolls Royce Leisure edged into third place after they drew 1-1 away to Appleby Froddingham whilst Lincoln Ladies Development netted ten without reply against Mansfield Town Res.
Eastern Region League
C & K Basildon kept their slim hopes of the league title alive after they defeated Thorpe Utd 7-0. Carly Eagles bagged a four-goal haul and there was one apiece from Angela Arnold, Nicola Carty and Lucy Wyatt. Peterborough Sports leapfrogged Bedford Ladies into third place by beating them 6-4, Stacie Gross hitting a hat-trick along with Jessica Farchica (2) and Claire Knibbs. Vicky Bruce scored twice and Hayley Piggott the other as Barking won 3-2 against Billericay Town.
Colchester Town clinched the Division One South title following their 3-2 victory against second placed Haringey Borough. Gabrielle Box netted a double and Laura Brooks was also on target for the newly crowned Champions. Sawbridgeworth Town are battling with Haringey for the runners-up spot and they kept those hopes alive by winning 1-0 at East Thurrock Utd, Emma Hastings grabbing the only goal of the game. Jane Rudderman, Kelly Randall and Hannah Eaton were on the scoresheet as Leverstock Green notched up a 3-1 success away to Hannakins.
London & South East League
The only game which took place in the league on Sunday was also the biggest match of the season and it turned out to be the title decider in the Premier Division.
Chichester City needed a point from their game away to second placed Eastbourne Town in order to be confirmed as Champions and they duly did so after battling their way to a goalless draw (see match report).
North East League
League leaders Barnsley's title hopes took a big knock after they went down to a 3-1 defeat away to Hessle Town. Kayleigh James netted twice for Hessle and Helen Mell was also on target. Hull City are now one point off the top, with two games in hand, following their 2-0 success at Guiseley which was given to them by Melissa Halstead and Frankie Waller. Tania Marsden bagged a hat-trick as Sheffield Utd Community kept themselves in the title hunt with a 5-1 victory over Whitley Bay. Cheryl Mawhood and Jen Pearson added United's other goals. Peterlee Town maintained their good finish to the season, beating Sheffield Utd Junior Blades thanks to a Leanne Anderson hat-trick and Charlotte Dinsdale.
Birtley Phoenix are just one match away from completing their Northern Division season with a 100% record after coming from behind to beat Redcar Athletic 3-2. Victoria Mudd was on target twice along with Rae Taylor. Norton & Stockton Ancients are up into second place following their 2-0 victory over Tynedale.
Lepton Highlanders completed their successful season in the Southern Division with an 8-1 win at Ossett Albion. Louise Wardman bagged a hat-trick, Emma Rutherford added a brace and there was one each from Louise Ikin, Emily Senior and Rebecca Wiggans. Runners-up Keepmoat Stadium meanwhile ran out 6-1 winners over Malet Lambert. Wakefield Res will finish at the bottom despite recording a 3-0 victory against Goole Town.
North West League
Chorley are just one win away from the league title after they won 1-0 away to Chester City whilst second placed Blackpool drew 2-2 away to Burnley Girls & Ladies. Tranmere Rovers meanwhile moved back into third place at the expense of Crewe Alexandra after beating them 1-0. Preston North End greatly improved their chances of finishing outside of the bottom two, thanks to a 3-1 victory over Denton Town.
Morecambe continue to stretch the pace in Division One North and have gone four points clear following their 3-0 win against Warrington Town. Blackpool Wren Rovers won 3-1 at Padiham and are now in second place.
Birkenhead look on course for a top three finish in Division One South after running out 4-0 winners over Macclesfield Town. In the other game, Manchester Stingers claimed a 3-0 success away to Glossop North End who are still looking for their first victory.
South West League
In the only match to be played in the Premier Division, Marine Academy (Plymouth) moved themselves out of the bottom three with a 2-1 win at Frome Town, thanks to a Sam Drewery brace.
Bridgwater Town can still take the runners-up position in Eastern Division One and they remain on course following their 3-0 victory over Poole Town. Chelsea Pitt, Victoria Tyndall and Charlotte Barnes scored the goals for Bridgwater. At the other end of the table, Swindon Spitfires claimed a crucial 3-1 win away to Forest Green Rovers Res in which Jenna Blake (2) and Lyndsey Welsh were on the scoresheet.
Launceston's hopes of finishing in second place in Western Division One are in tatters after they were beaten 5-2 by Falmouth Town in their final game. Katy Barker scored a hat-trick, with Laura-Beth Haggis and Naomi Blight adding the others to give Falmouth the points and Morley Rangers the runners-up spot.
Southern Region League
Oxford Utd opened up a huge lead of eleven points after they won 1-0 against Shanklin, Lucy Paley scoring the only goal of the game. Southampton Women hold on to second place despite going down to a 1-0 defeat at home to Maidenhead Utd. Bracknell Town caught up ground by winning 3-1 at Wycombe Wanderers and at the other end of the table, Andover New Street picked up an important point from a 1-1 draw with Aldershot Town, whose goal came from Amy-Louise Hubbort.
In the Jubilee Cup, Reading Ladies booked their place in the quarter finals with a 4-1 victory over Beaconsfield SYCOB. Marlow defeated Newbury Ladies & Girls 5-2 and Locks Heath were 4-1 winners against Basingstoke Town thanks to a Rachel Anderson double, Emma Hebdige and Amy Wakefield.
West Midlands League
Kingshurst Sporting continue to finish the season well and their 6-1 victory over Stafford Town has taken them out of the bottom two, as well as putting them in good stead ahead of their League Cup Final against Solihull Ladies this Sunday.
In Division One North, FC Reedswood moved themselves level on points with leaders Wyrley Ladies by scoring six without reply against Silverdale.
