The battle to finish runners-up behind newly crowned Champions Newcastle Utd is still on after the two remaining contenders both picked up wins on Easter Sunday.
Sheffield Wednesday hold on to second place after they put the disappointment of defeat to Newcastle the previous Sunday to run out 5-2 winners away to Liverpool Feds.
Bradford City maintained their own challenge with a 4-1 victory over Salford Ladies. Charlotte Stuart was on target twice for Bradford along with Caroline Omboyi and an own goal.
South Durham & Cestria can no longer mathematically finish second despite recording a 6-2 win against Mossley Hill. Vicky Wray bagged a hat-trick for South Durham and there was one apiece from Tracey Swales, Alex Saunders and Becky Hanratty.
South East Combination
Luton Town put themselves within reach of a top half finish when beating Milton Keynes Dons 5-1 in midweek. Laura Day and Nicola Henman each netted twice for Luton, with Rachel Kosky also on target.
South West Combination
Forest Green Rovers have the advantage in the race to finish as runners-up behind Yeovil Town. Paige Stewart scored twice and Ella Hitchcox the other as Forest Green defeated University of Portsmouth 3-1 to lift themselves into second place.
Yeovil Town meanwhile dealt a blow to Havant & Waterlooville's chances of taking second place by beating them 5-2. Laura Bray once more led the scoring for the title winners by bagging a hat-trick and she was joined on the scoresheet by Rosie Williams and Stacey Pearson.
