Newlands Ladies Football Academy invites you to their Trials on Saturday 28th April, from 10.00am until 2.00pm at Newlands Independent School, Eastbourne Road, Seaford, East Sussex BN25 4NP
The event includes: Tour of the school and Training Facilities, a training session and a Trials Match in the afternoon. There will also be presentations by the Academy Coaching Staff.
Starting in September 2012 Essential Sports Training in partnership with Newlands School will provide a residential and day Academy for 16-19 year old females (places are limited).
The Academy will provide players with the opportunity to combine educational studies with football training while earning a weekly wage as an apprentice (National Minimum Wage for Apprentices for 16 hours per week). International students are welcome, special deals are available.
The Academy Programme includes:
NVQ Level 2 in Activity Leadership
NVQ Level 3 in Sports Development
Level 2/3 in Employer Awareness
Level 1/2 Functional Skills (English & Maths)
FA Level 1/2 Award in Coaching Football
FA Level 2 Leadership through Football
First Aid at Work Certificate
Optional A Level qualifications (subject timetable)
Newlands School is located in an area of outstanding beauty on the South Coast of England, a short drive from Brighton and Eastbourne. Facilities include an indoor swimming pool, excellent sports facilities and affordable residential packages (visit: www.newlands-school.com).
