Plymouth woe as Spurs hit four
 Women's Football News 20 Apr 2012
Tottenham Hotspur finished off their first ever season in the league on a winning note, beating Plymouth Argyle 4-1 at Home Park to move back into sixth place.
Sam Pittuck and Vicky Elcome put Spurs two ahead at half time and although Tash Knapman reduced the arrears for Argyle, Wendy Martin and Bianca Baptiste added further goals for Tottenham. The result keeps Plymouth still in the bottom two and leaves them needing to avoid defeat in their final match against title chasing Portsmouth this Sunday to achieve safety.
However there will be no reprieve for Keynsham Town whose relegation was confirmed when drawing 1-1 with Queen's Park Rangers. Keynsham led throughout the game following an early strike by Kelly Aldridge but a late own goal earned Rangers a share of the spoils and condemned Keynsham to a place in the bottom two.
