Caernarfon end Llanidloes hopes
 Women's Football News 1 May 2012
Wrexham have qualified for the Welsh Premier Women's League play-off final without kicking a ball on Sunday.
They were guaranteed to finish on top of the Northern Conference after Llanidloes, the only team which could still match their points total, were beaten 1-0 by Caernarfon Town in the solitary game in the league which managed to escape the bad weather.
Sioned Jones scored the only goal of the game with four minutes remaining for Caernarfon and the result means that, although they remain fourth in the table, they move level on points with Llanidloes and Aberystwyth Town. Wrexham are the group winners and will play UWIC in the play-off final.
