Training boost for Lewes

FA Women's Premier League Southern Division newcomers Lewes are pleased to announce a new training facility for next season which will be based at Newlands School in Seaford, just eight miles from the ground. 
Newlands has an excellent reputation for sport with extensive on-site football pitches, a magnificent modern sports hall, a heated indoor swimming pool, gym, and will have a brand new 3G facility from September and can also provide accommodation.
Lewes Ladies are already making preparations for their inaugural season in the Premier League having won promotion this season. Manager Jacquie Agnew is determined to continue with their impressive progression. "We are really looking forward to the new season and will continue implementing our blueprint with our Players at the heart of everything we do; we are an integral part of our parent club who have fully embraced its Ladies section," she said.
"Newlands will provide our players with the very best facilities and our coaching team will have a great environment to deliver first class coaching. I believe it's very important to give players the best possible environment so they can enjoy playing the game and be part of a professional culture.
"As well as providing a highly competent coaching team, we will also be adding a sports and exercise scientist as well as implementing the very latest conditioning coaching philosophies.
"We have two International players in the squad and will be running an eye over a few players in the summer. We have already made some enquiries and once players see the set up and facilities we have available, I'm sure they will be highly impressed."
In a new development for the new season, upmarket guide to what's on in Lewes; Viva Lewes have agreed to sponsor Lewes Ladies' Match Day programme. It's Publisher Nick Williams commented: "The community are very proud of its ladies football team and wanted to support them with a glossy programme which will be included as part of the gate fee so supporters will get value for money."
