The Football Association and Manchester County FA are calling all girls in the Manchester area to take part in the FA Girls' Football Festival on Sunday and see England play Holland in a crucial Euro 2013 Qualifier, kick off at 5.15pm.
The FA Girls' Football Festival, supported by Continental Tyres, Sport England and UEFA will take place outside the ground ahead of the match, from 3pm-5.15pm.
The Festival is a free programme aimed at encouraging girls to participate in football. The initiative has already visited 14 venues throughout England in 2012 providing hundreds of girls aged 5-17 with an exciting, interactive football experience. All Festivals are available for girls and their families to turn up and join in on the day.
Prior to seeing their national team in action, those attending will take part in fun festival style activities combining football, lifestyle and music. Activities include interactive games and competitions, the ContiWarmUp programme, skills and drills with FA approved coaches, prizes and goodies for all and digital stations to entertain the girls during breaks from playing.
Along with taking part in the Festival, England fans are urged to come along ready for a party atmosphere and be prepared to make some noise! Holland currently sit at the top of qualifying Group Six, with England close behind in second. Only the top placed nation will qualify for next year's Euro Finals in Sweden, so this is a must win match for Hope Powell's team.
