 Women's Football News 18 Sep 2012
Southern Division leaders Millwall Lionesses extended their advantage to five points with a 2-0 win away to Gillingham.
Both goals were scored in the first half, Emma Whitter giving Millwall the lead after ten minutes and Abigail Igbavboia secured the victory from the penalty spot, ten minutes before half time.
Brighton & Hove Albion are up into second place after their local derby against Lewes ended in a goalless draw.
Queen's Park Rangers picked up their first victory of the season, 1-0 against previously unbeaten Yeovil Town. Katie O'Leary netted the only goal of the game to lift Rangers off the bottom of the table.
Tottenham Hotspur and Colchester Utd are each still seeking their first wins after they battled out a 1-1 draw. Jess Cheeseman was on target for Spurs, with Colchester replying through Gemma Codling.
