Glasgow City are within a single point of their fifth consecutive Scottish Women's Premier League title following their 5-0 victory away to Forfar Farmington.
Leanne Crichton gave City the lead shortly before half time with Ruesha Littlejohn adding a second in quick succession. In the second half, Danica Dalziel put them further ahead and they went on to seal victory with further goals from Emma Mitchell and Nicola Docherty.
Hibernian still head the chase for second place after scoring eight without reply against Aberdeen. Kirsty Smith and Susan Fairlie each scored twice with Lisa Robertson, Joelle Murray, Rebecca Zoltie and Caroline Weir also on the scoresheet.
Celtic can no longer win the league but they remain well in the hunt for the runners-up position as they won 3-0 at Spartans. The scoreline was goalless at half time but Celtic took the lead midway through the second half with a goal from Abby Harrison. Suzanne Grant added a second two minutes later and Heather Richards rounded off the scoring late on.
In the bottom section of the table, Hamilton Academicals stayed narrowly ahead with a 3-0 victory over Rangers. All of the goals came in the second half, Cheryl McCulloch breaking the deadlock before the Accies went on to seal victory with further strikes from Jennifer King and Clare Gemmell.
Hutchison Vale made sure of keeping pace with the Accies by winning 6-2 away to Inverness City. Laura Gavin and Kat Smart each netted twice for Hutchie, whose other goals came courtesy of Jen Malone and Tracy Donnachie.
