Forfar Farmington staged a dramatic late fightback to beat Rangers 2-1 and reach the semi finals of the Henson Scottish Cup.
Rangers went into a sixteenth minute lead through Jennifer Condie and defended strongly from that point, restricting Forfar to few clear cut chances. It looked as though Rangers would hold on to book their place in the last four until two minutes from time, when Farmington captain Nicola Davidson curled a free kick past Khym Ramsey and into the top corner for the equaliser. Forfar were not finished there as, two minutes into injury time, a Fay McDonald pass picked out Caren Webster who drove home the winning goal.
Hibernian are just one stage away from their third appearance in the Final in successive years as they ended the hopes of SWFL side Queen's Park with a 6-1 victory. Susan Fairlie led the scoring for the Hibees with a hat-trick and there was a goal apiece from Kirsty Smith, Kirsty McLaughlin and Laura Kennedy.
However any hopes of Hibernian's reserves joining their first team in the semi finals were put to a firm end by Hamilton Academicals who also ran out 6-1 winners to register their eighth successive victory in all competitions.
Karen McInally gave the Accies the lead on the half hour but Hibernian replied quickly, Caroline Kerr equalising three minutes later. After the break, Carolina Richardson put Hamilton back in front and Sarah Crilly quickly added a third. McInally then headed in a Cara McBrearty for her second goal and Helen Templeton struck twice late on to round off the scoring for the Accies.
