Scotland kicked off their UEFA Women's Under-19 Championship qualifying campaign with a comprehensive 8-0 victory over Belarus.
Carolina Richardson grabbed a first-half hat-trick as Shelley Kerr's side cruised to victory in the opening match of the first qualifying round mini tournament in Turkey. Scotland sit at the top of Group 5 on goal difference after Norway defeated Turkey 2-0 in the other group match.
Scotland dominated play, recording a total of 28 shots on target to their opponents' two. Abbi Grant opened the scoring in the 11th minute after Scotland won a free kick for a foul on Kathryn Hill. Richardson scored twice in three minutes, before Heather Richards added a fourth wth just 33 minutes gone. Richardson then grabbed her third, and Scotland's fifth just before half time.
The goals kept coming in the second half, with Caroline Weir, Kirsty Smith and Kelly Clark all netting.
Scotland now face Turkey on Monday, and finish the first qualifying round against Norway on Thursday.
