Forest join leading pack
 Women's Football News 23 Oct 2012
Nottingham Forest put themselves in the pack at the top of the Northern Division as an injury time strike gave them a 3-2 victory over Sporting Club Albion.
Jemma Connor-Iommi netted twice, including the late winner, with Aileen Whelan having earlier found the target while Ashleigh Neville and Robyn James replied for Albion, who could have gone top with a win. Just three points now separate the top six teams in the division, which is still headed by Sheffield FC.
In the other game, Derby County picked up an important win when beating Newcastle Utd 4-2. Amy Kane bagged a brace with Nikki Ledgister and Hannah Ward adding a goal apiece, Newcastle responding through Jess Havelock and Beth Gardener.
