Middlesbrough kept up their recent run of good form with a 6-0 victory over Wakefield, which takes them into fifth place. Emily Scott bagged a four-goal haul for 'Boro and she was joined on the scoresheet by Sarah Manning and Ebony Housam.
Mossley Hill and Leeds City Vixens are entrenched in mid-table after battling out a 1-1 draw. Kim Cahill was on target for Mossley with the Vixens replying through Charlie Blythe.
Leafield Athletic's winning start to the season came to a halt as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Loughborough Students, despite a goal from Jessica Lippiatt.
Radcliffe Olympic moved into second place on the back of a 2-1 victory against Leicester City. Jennifer Purnell and Aileen Whelan were on target for Radcliffe, with Lauren Gage replying.
Rotherham Utd maintained their good form away from home by winning 3-1 at Loughborough Foxes. Bianca Ross, Nicolle Jepson and Natalie Shaw netted the goals for Rotherham with the home side's consolation coming from Jodie White.
* On Wednesday night, Stoke City regained second place in the table with a 3-0 win away to Curzon Ashton.
South West Combination
In the only game to be played on Sunday, Keynsham Town returned to the top of the table with a narrow 1-0 victory over rivals Forest Green Rovers.
A very well contested game at the AJN Stadium was settled by a superb individual goal from Polly Wardle although both sides went close to scoring during an even second half.
