England have been pitched alongside France, Russia and Spain after the draw for the UEFA Women's Euro 2013 Finals was made in Gothenburg on Friday evening.
The quartet have been placed in Group C and all of the Three Lions' group matches will take place in Linköping in the south east of Sweden.
Hope Powell's side will open up against Spain on Friday 12 July, before they take on Russia on Monday 15 July, rounding things off against France on Thursday 18 July.
England qualified unbeaten for next summer's European Championship and finished runners-up to Germany at Euro 2009.
Hope said: "Whoever we got it was going to be tough and that has certainly proved the case.
"There are no easy games at international level anymore and we have three challenging games ahead of us. But now we will start our preparation.
"We have found France very difficult opposition over the years, but we can take a great deal of confidence from our recent 2-2 draw with them in Paris. The girls came off that pitch with real belief that they're not that far off and that we can beat them.
"We played Russia in the 2009 Euros and we did well to come back from 2-0 down to win that game. I thought Russia were a very, very good side, though. It will be another tough encounter, they won't be a pushover.
"And Spain are the only country to have taken qualifying points off of Germany in I don't know how long, so they are clearly an improving nation and they deserve a lot of respect.
"But if we go into this tournament with the right mindset, if we put in a lot of hard work, if we play how we know we can and if we relax and enjoy it then we have as good a chance as anybody else. We have nothing to fear."
