Reserve Section Leagues round-up
 Women's Football News 7 Dec 2012

Reserve Section League Cup
Bristol Academy became the second team through to the semi finals of the Reserve Section League Cup when they defeated Brighton & Hove Albion 1-0, Ellie Curson scoring the only goal of the game. The other two quarter final ties both fell victim to the weather for the second week in succession and are set to be played this week.

Midlands/North Division Two
There was a change of leadership where Leeds Utd replaced Doncaster Rovers Belles at the top by beating them 2-0. The Belles still possess three games in hand on their Yorkshire rivals, although they now trail them by two points and are back in third place with Sheffield FC moving into second place following their 2-2 draw with Newcastle Utd. It looked as though Newcastle were on their way to only their second win of the season, thanks to a Toni Laurie double, but Sheffield, who had earlier found the net through Georgina Benjamin, salvaged a point in injury time when Helen Wakefield equalised.

Southern Division One
Chelsea went level on points with leaders Charlton Athletic with a 4-2 victory over Gillingham. Karin Muya netted a goal in each half for the Blues and she was joined on the scoresheet by Elizabeth Maddison and Hannah Blundell.

Southern Division Two
The result of the day came in Southern Division Two where Reading FC Women's hopes of regaining the leadership were scuppered as they went down to a 5-1 defeat at home to Yeovil Town. Sarah Roxburgh gave Yeovil a first minute lead which was cancelled out by Deanna Peters but a Jodi Cornwall double, Erin Slade and an own goal saw the Somerset side to only their second victory of the season. Tottenham Hotspur meanwhile lifted themselves off the bottom of the table as they won for the first time, 2-1 away to Millwall Lionesses thanks to a brace of goals from Chanel Richards.
