Wales Under-19s to play double header - 24 Jan 2013 - Women's Football NewsThe Wales Under-19 squad will play Norway in two upcoming friendly matches. 
The first match takes place on Friday 1st February and will be at Latham Park, Newtown (6pm). The teams will meet again two days later on Sunday 3rd February at TNS FC, Park Hall, Oswestry (11am). Admission is free to both games.
These friendly matches are part of the continuing preparation for the UEFA Women's Under-19 Tournament to be held in Wales in August 2013.
So far this season, the squad has played six friendly games, against Estonia (twice), Turkey (twice), Sweden and England. They have won two, drawn three and lost just once.
Jarmo Matikainen will announce his squad soon for what will be two very testing games for the young squad, against Norway who are one of the leading forces in women's world football.
