Midlands/North Division One
There was a change of leadership with Manchester City taking over at the top, thanks to a 2-0 win away to Coventry City. Alice Hey netted both goals, including an injury time clincher. In the other game, Leicester City made the long trip to Sunderland worthwhile as they returned with a 3-2 victory under their belts.
Midlands/North Division Two
Leaders Leeds Utd were surprised by a 2-0 defeat at home to Wolverhampton Wanderers, who are now two points behind them in second place. Derby County meanwhile put a little ground between themselves and the bottom two after goals from Farrah Walker and Charlotte Hall earned them a 2-0 victory over Newcastle Utd.
No matches were played in either Southern Division One or Southern Division Two, largely due to County Cup duties.
