Ashleigh Hayes scored a hat-trick as Northop Hall came from behind to beat high riding Llanidloes 3-2 in the Welsh Premier Women's League.
In one of only two matches to survive the weather, Hayes scored the only goal of the first half to leave her side in front at the break but Kate Thomas equalised within a minute of the restart and then netted a second to put Llanidloes in front just ahead of the hour mark. However two goals in a six minute spell from Hayes saw her become the second player to hit a hat-trick in successive games for Northop and a second win in a row, both by 3-2.
The only other game to go ahead was at Port Talbot Town where the home side also staged a comeback to win 2-1 against Llandudno Junction. The visitors led at the break through a 39th minute strike from Sofie Owen but two minutes into the second half, Port Talbot were back on level terms through Jessica Curran and Coryn Sexton scored the winner just after the hour to lift her side up to fourth place in the table.
