Hutchison Vale are the leaders of the Scottish Women's Premier League by virtue of having scored more goals, following their 4-2 victory away to Falkirk. Katherine Smart and Jennifer Rogers scored two goals apiece to take Hutchie to the summit for the first time in their history, with the home side replying through Susanne MacLellan and Jennifer Godfrey. Glasgow City sit in second place after also recording their second straight win, 3-1 against Spartans. It was Spartans who took the lead shortly before half time through a Kirsty McLaughlin strike but after the break, Lisa Robertson and Ruesha Littlejohn scored in quick succession to turn the match around in City's favour and they went on to seal the points via an injury time goals from Suzanne Malone. Forfar Farmington had started the day as joint leaders but they were pegged back to a 2-2 draw by Hamilton Academicals who, like Spartans, were playing their first league match of the season. Forfar twice took the lead thanks to Aimee Godfrey and Caroline Heron but Susan Lang and Clare Gemmell equalised on each occasion to give the Accies a fine result. Buchan Ladies' delayed entrance to the league, due to the weather, finally took place with a trip to Aberdeen where they were narrowly beaten 2-1. Aimee Ridgeway and Lisa Glennie netted the goals to give Aberdeen their first win of the season, with Buchan's consolation coming from a Hannah Stewart penalty. The other two matches were postponed because of the weather - Celtic, who are yet to start their league campaign, saw their match with Kilwinning SC called off as was the game between Rangers and Hibernian.
