Blackburn confirm Ewood encounter
 Women's Football News 3 Apr 2013

Blackburn Rovers' final fixture of the 2012-13 season will be played at Ewood Park.

The game against Sporting Club Albion, which was originally scheduled to take place at Radcliffe Borough on Sunday May 19th, has been brought forward to Thursday May 16th, kick off 7.30pm.

Scott Rogers' side still have plenty to play for this season, with a Lancashire Cup final to look forward to, as well as the prospect of mounting a late championship challenge on Northern Division league leaders Sheffield FC, who they face this weekend.

Arguably Rovers' most famous result came on their last outing at Ewood Park, when almost 500 fans saw the hosts hold giants of the women's game Arsenal to a 1-1 draw in May 2010.

Rovers will again hope to impress on the big stage, as they look to sign off the season in style.
