Reading FC Women are effectively one point away from the Southern Division title after running out 4-0 winners over Queen's Park Rangers.
The Royals went two up inside the opening twenty minutes, both goals scored by ace markswoman Francesca Kirby. After the break, Gemma Sims added a third and Cheryl Williams completed the scoring for Reading who will be confirmed as Champions if they avoid defeat against second placed Millwall Lionesses on Thursday.
Yeovil Town will finish in third place following their 4-0 success away to Brighton & Hove Albion. Grace Rapp put the Glovers in front but it needed a double save by Beth Howard from a twice taken penalty to keep the Somerset side ahead. In the second half, Laura Bray netted twice to take her league tally for the season to 12 and substitute Shannon Osman wrapped up the win with the final goal.
Lewes' fine end to the season continued and they have leapfrogged West Ham Utd into fifth place after beating them 3-0. Andreia Veiga gave the Rookettes a tenth minute lead which was increased ahead of the break by Natasha Wells, and Kelly Newton added the third goal for Jacquie Agnew's side deep in the second half.
Gillingham meanwhile rounded off their campaign with a victory, 1-0 against Tottenham Hotspur. Emma Tune completed a good individual season for her side by scoring the only goal of the game.
