Glasgow City defeated Forfar Farmington 4-0 at Keirs Park, Hill of Beath to book their place in the Premier League Cup Final, where they will face Spartans on Wednesday 29th May at Recreation Park, Alloa for a repeat of last year's final.
Cup holders City had the better of the match but took until the second half to get on the scoresheet, when defender Danni Pagliarulo fired home her second successive goal for City to put her team ahead after a great leap from Eilish McSorley at the back post put Forfar under pressure following a City corner.
Sue Lappin expertly met a Leanne Ross free kick to head in number two on 57 minutes and Ross made it 3-0, netting from the penalty spot after Suzanne Malone was fouled in the box. With only a few minutes remaining, Sarah Crilly capitalised on Forfar keeper Ellie Welton being unable to hold a shot in very wet conditions to finish from close range and make the final score 4-0 to City.
