Glasgow City made it seven wins on the trot at the top of the Scottish Women's Premier League as they scored seven without reply against Buchan Ladies.
Leanne Ross netted twice and she was joined on the scoresheet by Lisa Robertson, Suzanne Malone, Suzanne Lappin, Ruesha Littlejohn and Sarah Crilly.
Hibernian stay three points behind following their 9-0 victory away to Hutchison Vale. Lizzie Arnott led the scoring with a hat-trick, Rachel Walkingshaw and Caroline Weir each added braces and the tally was completed by Siobhan Hunter and Frankie Brown. The top two are set to meet this coming Sunday and each will go into the match with a 100% record under their belts.
Rangers hold on to third place after winning 1-0 away to League Cup finalists Spartans, Megan Sneddon scoring the only goal of the game.
Celtic kept up their improving run with a 3-1 success at Falkirk, whose consolation goal came from Jenny Godfrey.
Aberdeen produced the result of the day, a 3-2 victory away to Forfar Farmington which moves them above their opponents into fifth place. Nicky Wright scored twice and Christy Grimshaw the other for the Dons, while Forfar replied with a double from Caroline Heron.
Hamilton Academicals meanwhile got back to winning ways when beating Kilwinning SC 2-1. Clare Gemmell and Ashley McDonald netted the goals for the Accies while Kilwinning, who came very close to their first point, found the net through Clare Docherty.
