A crowd of 1,500 saw Arsenal Under-17s clinch a 3-1 victory over Blackburn Rovers' Girls Centre of Excellence at the FA Girls' Youth Cup Final at stadium MK (Milton Keynes).
Following a spectacular hat-trick from Carla Martin, Blackburn Rovers' Centre of Excellence was unable to make up the difference and Arsenal went on to win their second title of the season.
Prior to the match, fans were invited to take part in a free, interactive fanzone, brought by Continental Tyres. The event was run as part of a series of exciting match day experiences, taking place at key FA Women's matches across the season, including the FA Women's Cup Final and England matches. Over 140 young girls took part in the activities aimed at encouraging girls to get involved in the game.
Games included batak boards, a speed cage, a target shoot inflatable plus a new trailer housing the FA WSL and Cyprus Cup trophies and digital stations. The youngsters, aged from 5-17 years old, were accompanied by England and Arsenal Ladies stars Alex Scott and Jordan Nobbs. A Q&A session was held to give an insight into the life of a semi-professional female footballer and they delighted the children by taking part in photography and signing autographs. In addition the loveable FA WSL mascot Berry was in attendance and there was hair braiding and face painting to add to the enhanced fan experience.
Alex Scott said: "It is fantastic to see such a good turnout at the FA Girls' Youth Cup and also to see so many youngsters taking part in the fanzone before the match. It's really important for kids to have a go at playing football in a fun environment whether they are regular players or totally new to the game."
