Glasgow City have gone six points clear in the Scottish Women's Premier League after a 4-0 victory in their top of the table clash with Hibernian.
Suzanne Lappin broke the deadlock in the first half, closely followed by a Leanne Ross penalty to put City 2-0 ahead at the break. Sarah Crilly and Leanne Crichton added further goals after the break maintain the leaders' 100% record and inflict a first league defeat on Hibs.
Rangers stretched their unbeaten run in six games and kept another clean sheet as they defeated Hutchison Vale 3-0. Natalie Ross, Hayley Cunningham and Megan Sneddon scored the goals to take Rangers to within two points of second placed Hibernian.
Celtic continue to follow on in fourth place after they won 4-2 against Forfar Farmington. Chloe Arthur, Emily Thomson, Rhonda Jones and Abigail Harrison were all on target for Celtic with Aimee Godfrey and Lucy Graham replying.
Spartans leapfrogged Aberdeen into fifth place by beating them 3-2. Kirsty McLaughlin bagged a brace with Sarah Ewens adding the other for the Edinburgh side while Rebecca Dempster netted both of the Dons' goals.
Hannah Stewart was the heroine for Buchan Ladies, scoring four times as her team won in the SWPL for the first time, 5-4 against Hamilton Academicals. Lydia Johnston joined her on the scoresheet with Cheryl McCulloch and Ainsley Douglas each hitting doubles for the Accies.
It was also a good day for Kilwinning SC as they registered their first Premier League points, coming from 4-2 behind to beat Falkirk 5-4 (scorers to follow).
