Glasgow City restored their five-point lead at the top of the Scottish Women's Premier League with an 8-1 victory away to Hutchison Vale.
After Hibernian had reduced the gap by beating Hamilton Academicals 4-1 on Friday night, City notched up their ninth straight victory as Sarah Crilly bagged a four-goal haul, Suzanne Lappin weighed in with a hat-trick and Lisa Robertson was also on target, with Hutchie's consolation coming from Laura Gavin.
Rangers stretched their unbeaten run to eight matches and remain close at hand in third place after they defeated Aberdeen 5-1. Kathryn Hill netted twice along with Megan Sneddon, Megan Foley and Rachel Halliday while the Dons replied through Marlijn Hermans.
Spartans warmed up for Wednesday night's Premier League Cup Final with a fine 1-0 victory over Celtic, a result which lifts them above their opponents and into fourth place. Sarah Ewens scored the only goal of the game to help Spartans keep up their climb up the table.
Forfar Farmington recaptured their winning form by scoring six without reply past Kilwinning SC. Caroline Heron had a great day in front of goal, hitting a first half hat-trick and going on to find the net five times in all, with Caren Webster joining her on the scoresheet.
After an unwanted run of eight straight defeats, Falkirk registered their first points of the season when beating Buchan Ladies 6-1. Jade Gallon led the scoring with a hat-trick along with Shelby MacLeod, Lauren Neilson and an own goal, Buchan netting a consolation through Hannah Stewart.
