Learning curve for Wales girls
 Women's Football News 3 Jun 2013
Wales Under-19s lost 2-1 in Hungary on Sunday morning in the second match of their double header.
Following a 4-0 defeat in the first match against the senior Hungary women's team, Jarmo Matikainen made several changes as the squad looked to continue their preparation for the UEFA Women's Under-19 Finals in Wales in August.
Wales conceded a goal after just four minutes, but overall, the first half was a very even game. The Hungarians scored their second goal after 73 minutes to seal the fixture, but Wales grabbed a goal back late on thanks to a strike from substitute Catherine Walsh. That was how the game ended.
Over the two matches, Wales played some decent football against older, stronger players. The experience will no doubt serve them well in the run-in to the finals.
