Kylie Allen kept up her excellent record in Gloucestershire County Women's League Cup Finals this season when she helped Bitton beat Cheltenham Civil Service 4-3.
The winger scored twice as her club picked up the trophy for the first time but it was the fourth time that Kylie had been on the winning side in four finals and her double took her overall tally to an impressive eight goals, including a hat-trick for her former club Stoke Lane Athletic against Cam Bulldogs five years ago.
"I scored two free kicks and then two late goals so it couldn't have been better once the team pulled together," recalled Kylie.
"It's good to play in a cup final as you have to work hard to get there, and to score goals and help the team win is always a part of it, but it was a good team effort really."
The Cup Final success completed an excellent season for Bitton as they also won the league and the 24-year-old is confident they can do well in a higher level next season. "We had to come from behind, I think we had four games in hand and won all four of them," she said. "It came to our last but one game when we had to beat our top rivals Cheltenham Civil Service and we were clear then, so the last match didn't really matter but we still went out and won that, which was really good.
"We've definitely got the players and better facilities than most teams so I think we can have a really good go next season. If we can get a couple of players into our squad then we could have a good season."
