Scotland have won a Women's Under-17 Development Mini Tournament in Ukraine after a hat-trick from Hannah Stewart secured a 3-2 win against Hungary.
Following the previous day's 5-1 win against Ukraine, the young Scots' second win today secured victory in the competition.
Stewart, who plays for Buchan, made her international debut in the win against Ukraine and followed it up with an outstanding display of finishing against Hungary. All three goals were scored in similar fashion as she displayed composure to round the goalkeeper and slot home from close range.
The tournament saw a total of seven players make their debut for Scotland with goalkeeper Jennifer Currie appearing for the first time in this match.
National coach for the competition, Michelle Barr, said: "This was tougher test than against Ukraine and I thought the players were excellent.
"It's been a fantastic tournament to be part of. I have been impressed with our professionalism and how we have gone about winning the matches.
"It's been great to see so many players making their international debuts. Winning the competition will only be a great confidence booster going forward."
