Wales girls beaten by Russia

Wales Under-19 lost 6-0 to the Russian senior women's team in Samara at the Metallurg Stadium after having been 4-0 down at half time. 
Wales suffered two injury issues prior to the match with neither Rhian Cleverly nor Shanelle Edwards being able to take any part in the match.
Russia took an early lead, added a second after 13 minutes and were a constant threat. Two more goals followed before half time.
In the second half, substitutions were made with Sam Quayle and Emma Jones coming on, then later Kelly Bourne and Georgia Edwards. When a fifth substitute was needed, reserve goalkeeper, Alice Evans came on to play as an outfielder. 
Wales Under-19: Gemma Jackson, Alys Hinchcliffe, Lauren Hancock, Danielle Oates, Lauren Price, Angharad James, Ellie Curson, Rachel Hignett, Catherine Walsh, Hannah Keryakoplis, Amy Wathan. Subs: Alice Evans, Kelly Bourne, Georgia Evans, Samantha Quayle, Emma Jones.
