Scotland venues announced
 Women's Football News 1 Jul 2013

Scotland will host Group 1 of the 2013-14 UEFA Women's Under-17 Championship first qualifying round involving Czech Republic, Montenegro and Northern Ireland in Aberdeenshire between Friday 2nd and Wednesday 7th August.

All matches have free admission.

Scotland kick off the tournament on Friday, 2nd August at Harlaw Park in Inverurie against Montenegro, kick off 7pm.

Their next match is against Northern Ireland on Sunday, 4th August at North Lodge Park in Formartine, kick off 1pm.

The final match for the Scots is against Czech Republic on Wednesday, 7th August at North Lodge Park, kick off 7pm.

The teams will take part in a mini-tournament where the winners and runners-up will qualify for the second qualifying round. The third-placed side with the best record against the top two in their section across all ten mini-tournaments joins the three top seeds in the second qualifying round draw on 15th August.

There is a brand new format for the finals taking place in England for the first time on 18th November.

Since its inaugural edition, the competition has usually concluded with a four-team knockout event at the Colovray Stadium opposite UEFA's Swiss headquarters in Nyon. Now the finals have doubled in size in line with other European youth competitions.

The winter final time is due to the 2014 FIFA Under-17 Women's World Cup in Costa Rica being held between 15th March and 5th April; the winter European finals act as the UEFA qualifier, the top three teams in England earning World Cup places.

The other fixtures in Group 1 are:

Czech Republic v Northern Ireland, Friday 2nd August, kick off 3pm, Harlaw Park, Inverurie.
Czech Republic v Montenegro, Sunday 4th August, kick off 5pm, North Lodge Park, Formartine.
Montenegro v Northern Ireland, Wednesday 7th August, kick off 7pm, North Lodge Park, Formartine.
