Northamptonshire FA and Northampton Town FC are delighted to announce that they have been successful in applying for an FA Player Development Centre (PDC) License for season 2013-14.
The Centre will cater for Under-9, Under-11, Under-13 and Under-15 year old girls showing potential within grassroots clubs. Each player is encouraged to play for both a grassroots team, as well as the PDC.
PDCs provide 1.5 hours additional quality coaching per week (1hr for Under-9s) and up to 4 matches per year against other PDCs across the country.
We are delighted to be able to offer this pathway for the talented players within grassroots football in Northamptonshire. Northampton Town have worked hard to meet the requirements needed to host a Centre and we look forward to working together to support our talented grassroots players.
Trials for the PDC are being held at Sixfields Stadium on the back pitch on Monday 5th August and Wednesday 7th August 2013. Times are as follows:
Under-9s - 5pm-6pm
Under-11 & Under-13s - 6.00-7.30pm
Under-15s - 7.30-9pm
All trial places must be pre booked so that we know who to expect. If for any reason you are unable to attend on these dates, please contact Matt below.
If you would like more information on the trials, if you want to book a place or if you have any queries about the trials, please contact Matt Chart, the Centre Manager on Matt.Chart@ntfc.tv or call on 01604) 683759 or (07920) 553395.
