GB into last eight
 Women's Football News 10 Jul 2013
Great Britain progressed from their group in the World University Games in Kazan after they defeated Estonia 5-1 in their second match.
Kristina Bannikova had given Estonia the lead with just seconds on the clock but Katie Stanley equalised ahead of the half hour and Courtney Sweetman-Kirk ensured that GB were in the lead by half time.
Sweetman-Kirk scored a second midway through the second half and late strikes through Michelle Hinnigan and Francesca Kirby gave GB an increased margin of victory.
GB now face Ireland in the quarter finals on Thursday.
Great Britain: Mary Earps, Sam Chappell (sub Jemma Rose 45mins), Billie Ann Murphy, Kasia Lipka, Grace McCatty, Victoria Williams (sub Michelle Hinnigan 45mins), Beth Donoghue (sub Francesca Kirby 59mins), Katie Stanley (sub Aileen Whelan 73mins), Danielle Carter, Courtney Sweetman-Kirk, Demi Stokes.
