Great Britain have won the Gold Medal at the World University Games in Kazan after four goals in the last nine minutes saw them to a 6-2 victory over Mexico in the Final.
However Kay Cossington's side twice had to come from behind in the first half to ensure they were on level terms at the break. Monica Monsivais gave Mexico the lead with just nine minutes on the clock but GB soon equalised through Naomi Cole.
Veronica Corral Ang put Mexico back in front once again but Issy Christiansen responded ten minutes before half time to make it 2-2 going into half time.
Things remained in the balance during the second half but with nine minutes left on the clock, Great Britain went in front for the first time with a goal from Francesca Kirby.
GB then took control when substitute Aileen Whelan and Kirby scored twice in a minute and Danielle Carter rounded off a great day when she netted the sixth during injury time.
