Lincoln make triple swoop
 Women's Football News 23 Jul 2013
Lincoln Ladies are delighted to announce a trio of new signings, with Lara Fay, Lillie Fenlon-Billson and Rachel Lee all agreeing moves to the Lady Imps this week.
Fay, who can play at right back or right midfield, has represented England at Under-15, Under-17, Under-19 and Under-23 level and joins Lincoln from FAWSL rivals Chelsea, who she played for in the 2012 FA Women's Cup Final.
"I am an ambitious player and feel that I have shown throughout my career that I have a desire to improve and to succeed, so I am delighted to be joining Lincoln Ladies and excited by what the future holds for me personally and for this club as a whole," said the highly-rated 19-year-old.
Striker Fenlon-Billson, who is a Republic of Ireland Under-19 international, moves to the Lady Imps from Liverpool and Lincoln Ladies would like to thank them for the smooth transition of the transfer of the 22-year-old.
"Lincoln Ladies have shown that they are a forward-thinking club and for me, at this stage of my career, this just seemed like the perfect move," enthused Fenlon-Billson.
"I am just looking forward to getting stuck in now, showing the fans what I can do and hopefully playing my part in making this club successful."
Midfielder Lee, who completes the triple swoop, represented the Great Britain University squad at the World University Games in China and joins from Leeds United.
All three players bring exciting talent and potential to the Lincoln Ladies squad and manager Rick Passmoor was delighted to have signed the trio.
"These three signings are a clear indication of our desire to challenge not only this season, but for many years to come," explained the Lady Imps boss.
"All three players arrive with a tremendous pedigree and I have brought them in not only to reignite our current campaign but also with an eye on the future and what I think they can bring to the club in the years to come."
